Oscar

 I wanted to do a photo shoot with the boys in there new Oscar De La Renta shirts THANKS NAT>>so glad I have a trendy cousin to send us samples

I grabbed the stool, the shirts, the camera came down and....well Ryan was being Ryan (smiling) so I skipped putting his shirt on and snapped a few pics. I've learned from tonight that I should't tell Connor to smile. Yikes that is a lot of teeth.

 (Side note: the only way I can get C to put a button down shirt on is bribery; I paused his show and said he could have a cupcake and his show back on if he let me take a few pictures of him)

Stranger Danger

Ryan has never met a stranger. It is going to be hard to teach him to not talk to strangers or have them pick you up. Uncle Kevin & Aunt Bonita rolled into town last week AND brought presents. I asked Connor the other day "Guess who is coming over?" The answer was Madison the babysiter. Connor's response: "Kevin?!?"

target.com

Did someone try to send Connor something from target.com? Today UPS delivered a Home Alone 2 DVD from a lady named Jaqueline who we don't know. It had all her info for the Bill to and Ship to but came to us. I called Target.com and the guy told me to keep it. I said, Um no it doesn't belong to us and it isn't charged on our credit card so its not right to keep. He then told me that was very honest of me and that I should donate it to charity.
I will gladly give it to my church but isn't this pour lady going to be charged for it? I'm sending it back.

THE BIGGER ISSUE:
Whatever someone did send Connor we didn't get. The Connor label with our address was stuck on Ms. Jaqueline's DVD and not whatever someone sweet out there got him.

I hope this mystery gets solved.

My Baby

It makes me sad that my baby isn't much of a baby any more. He is 17 months old this week. He can do or thinks he can do anything that Connor and cousin Isabella can do. He runs, climbs, and wrestles very effectively. He can say any word you ask him to and he plays with his little people and little people animals independantly well. He has 14 of his teeth with the final two for a full set poking through now. He is still SOO easy going. He rarley fights you to change his diaper and instead just stares at you with those baby blues. He LOVES the water and will stay in the bathtub long after all the waters gone.  He shares amazingly well and when stinker (aka big brother) wants a toy Ryan will give it up to make Connor happy.
When I asked Connor, "What do you think of Ryan" he responded, "He's here, and his hair is crazy" that pretty much sums it up. Connor also said "He is the best Ryan ever". Yes, yes he is!

I needed a break, not Connor

After our bad day Wednesday, and Ray and I having to both work half days Thursday with our pink eye kid.....Connor breaks his right leg.
The Story:
1am. We are awoken by crying (thought it was Ryan) get out of bed and find Connor laying over his wood step stool crying.
He said "don't touch it it hurts" this plus shaking plus tears went on until 5 am with intermitent times of sleep. Ray & I left for work after filling in Heather on the previous nigh. She called me at 8:30 and said she heard him wimpering. She found him on the floor in his room like he tried to get out of bed but couldn't walk. He peed his bed and she said looked like the sadest little guy. She brought him down and elevated his leg and waited on me to get home at 9. I drove him to our local Cincinnati Childrens Location (10 minutes away). Had amazing nurses and doctor Reedy was so good with him. After two XRays we got the result, a break. He is in a sling thing until Monday when he will get his cast at 3pm (ray's going to take him). So until then it is couch time and Mom & Dad carrying him.
Our sweet neighbor Stef already sent the kids over to check on Connor, drop off movies, popcorn and a picture with a lot of love. Thanks Abby & Sam!

*We were suppose to meet Kerry & Cousin Emma Clare in Columbus tomorrow and we had a roller skating party on Sunday that we will have to miss. Tear.

Horrible Day

I feel like sometimes I suger coat the crazyness that is our life but after a call from Nicki and a message from Erica with the jist of what these two ladies saying was "I'm having a horrible moment, the kids are being crazy, no time for me the Mom to eat...." Made me smile, not at their hardships but that they get it, they get me and they know that this raising two kids on the go stuff is HARD!
Yesterday was one of those when is it 5pm and is Ray home yet kind of days. Ryan woke up with pink eye, silly Mommy forgot what time Preschool started and took Connor 30 minutes late. Went to the pediatricians and grocery store with out my phone, had to wait over an hour for the pink eye medication and....done done done....

Connor was trying to figure out how to remove the new child proof lock I put on the pots and pans cabinet, he was pulling and getting mad and then next we both know he is holding the cabinet door (well a piece of it) in his hand. He split the wood and ripped the door in half. So yea....no clue where to begin. I made him stand in front of it and in this picture he is saying "sorry Mama". I called Ray and pre-warned him as I was worried that a hard spank was coming Conman's way.

Cincinnati Museum Center

We have been stuck in the house for almost two weeks and we finally ventured out to the Museum. We are so lucky to have an AMAZING children's museum. Ryan loved parts of the museum and Connor was in heaven at many of the stations.
