Connor is now 12 weeks old and is a total chatter box early in the morning and after dinner. He has been sleeping 5-6 hrs at night recently which has been really nice for mommy who went back to work. It has also been great having Ray at home with him these last two weeks to get Connor a feeding schedule and for quality boy time. In the New Year he will start attending daycare.

10 weeks

This weekend Grandma Pat and Aunt Kerry came to visit to have a very Merry Moorman Christmas!

Connor weighed in today at the doctor's office: 9lbs 10ounces (which moves him out of the 5th percentile and up to the 10th). 22 1/2 inches long. Tall and lean, who knows where he gets this from.

Connor is really starting to talk baby talk a lot now. If you put him on his tummy and he is motivated he can flip himself over. We can't believe how much he has grown in 8 weeks!

I think mommy is mad at me because I only slept from 2-4 last night. Ooops

Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Yesterday we went to get the Moorman family Christmas tree. We did not venture out into the woods, Christmas Vacation style. Instead we went and got a tree from the local boyscout troop. Here are some pics of Connor and us at the lot and then once we had the tree up and decorated.

First Trip to Iowa

This weekend we took Connor on his first trip to Iowa. We went to Cousin Brooke's wedding. Connor slept the whole 9.5 hrs in the car and slept through the ceremony and most of the reception. What a good baby.

Today we took Connor to Mike McGowans for a pre-Thanksgiving meal! Yum!

1 month old!

How can time pass so fast? Connor had his 1 month doctor's appointment. He weighed 7.72 lbs which is the 5th percentile and was 21 1/2 inches long, 50th percentile.

1st bath

We were planning on taping and taking pictures of Connor's first bath. But unless you enjoy hearing a baby scream thank us for not doing either. Hopefully with time he will grow to love bath time.

Did I mention that he peed on us when we were drying him off?

Happy Birthday Great Grandma

I was awake for 5 hours last night because I was just so excited to say Happy Birthday to Great Grandma!

I'm so big!

Today Connor's umbilical cord fell off. What a big milestone! We will be sure to take pictures when he gets his first bath. Also Connor found his thumb.

Thanks Mom & Dad

Mimi and Poppi left yesterday. They helped give Connor sponge baths, trimmed back bushes, washed all the windows, hung a range hood and made lots and lots of yummy meals for us. Thanks for all the help!

Connor had a follow up appointment today at the pediatricians office: 6lbs 3 ounces. Yay little piggy (finally above his birth weight).!
