Charley

Liz brought Charley with her this week so we could do our 4th Craft. With 3 under 3 it took us about an hour to do the simple craft. Look at this cute-ness! Connor was very sweet with her and gentle (the exact opposite of how he treats Ryan these days).

walker man

In the last day or two he has given up on crawling completly and is so proud of himself!

4th Craft Project

I have recently discovered the website www.pinterest.com and it has all kinds of images for any kind of project you can think of (or recipe). I found this on it last week and looked like something an Un-Crafty person could handle.

The big negative for me was how expensive it was. I shopped at Michaels and didn't bring a coupon so it cost me approx $14 to make. The other sad part to me was I didn't wait for the wood glue to dry so my star fell off then I didn't get all the glue wiped off and I didn't recenter the star.

Okoboji

I always think the best gifts are the ones you are not expecting. (no we are not having another kid) but Great Grandma Lois did send the boys matching Okoboji T-shirts. Nobody in Ohio knows what this means but Ray & do and we think they are adorable! Thanks G-Lo!

The Ziegler's

Pool & dinner with the Zeiglers...wish they lived in West Chester so we could do this every night! Molly is 4 months older than Ryan and I am always so amazed at all she can do. Looks like by Halloween we will have him talking if he is anything like Molly.

Walking

After days and weeks of Ray & I thinking today will be the day he walks he finally did it this weekend! As of today we have seen him take as many as 3. He stays true to Ryan form, not getting overly excited about his new big accomplishment but instead just walks around like he's been doing it for months. Connor on the other hand has a lot to say about it...all negative. Pushes, shoves, kicks you name it Connor is doing it to Ryan. It seems that sharing with his brother is not on his things he likes to do list.  Now we just have to get rid of the pacifiers.

buzz

by popular demand...I present; The Buzz Cut. I actually really like it. His long hair was pretty but it was so fly-away-ie that it always looked like he just woke up.

6 years

Ray & I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this week. Back at our days at Miami University we couldn't have even dreamed this crazy life. Although more stress than back in our days of just two we love these kids with our whole body and mind and feel we are living the American dream.

10 months

First.Time.Ever. posting a month update picture not on the actual day...listen I'm getting tired having been a mom for 32 months, what's one day?
Connor in his 10 month pictures has a black eye, Ryan is on the go just as much so I thought I better get a shot of him while he was still bruiser free and wearing his cute church clothes.
Ryan John is always on his feet but has been "almost walking" for about a month now. He will stand all day but has no interest in trying to take a step unless you are holding his hands. He loves to sit next to Connor and play and LOVES taking a bath with his big brother. He is on his 5th ear infection and they said if he gets one more ear infection in the next 30 days he will have to get tubes put in. No surgeries please! We can't decide if he is a blond or a strawberry blond, depends on the clothes and the light.
4 top teeth, 2 bottom teeth with two more just breaking the gums now.
Love my baby!

2 little monkeys

Honestly Heather & I were surprised they were strong enough to hold on much less let us walk away and take pictures :) They really are growing up. Connor told me the other day after I bought him a new type of yogurt, "that's cool Mom" he cracks me up with how much he is listening and learning all the time. Heather's headed back to work on Monday...man did maternity leave go by fast.

Cousin Emma Clare

The boys (and Ray & I) finally got to meet their two month old cousin Emma Clare. I coudn't get over how tall she was 24". Mom and Dad must be doing something right because their eyes weren't glossed over and they were making full sentences.
