17 weeks

Yay feel like the weeks are starting to go by quickly now. This weekend the baby was really kicking a lot; so comforting to know the little peanut is bouncing around in there and growing.
I wish I had a picture from Connor's pregnancy to compare to but I feel so much bigger this time around.

Big Bed

Connor napped Saturday in his bed and then after a long day of playing with all his friends slept in his big boy bed! He slept in until 7:40 but when he woke up he got down out of his bed, opened his door and walked down the hall to the gate (thanks Stef for the gate idea). Crazy kid.

Today at the dr I got to make my ultra sound appointment! April 6th we get to see the peanut!!

This picture is from last year at this time...crazy huh? Tonight Ray and I both felt the baby kick which was really cool! I go on Wednesday to the dr and at this weeks appointment get to schedule the Ultrasound!!

New room

We still need to get another curtain and move the crib out but Connor's room make over is almost complete. We are taking the advice of Travis & Casey Nickel's and letting Connor just see the bed for week one and then on Friday we are going to have him sleep in it (or try).

Picture Day

On Tuesday Connor woke up half an hour early...which was a good time because it was picture day at school! Mommy ironed his shirt, combed his hair and got food off his face before dropping off the little guy. He looked adorable. We shall see if he smiled for the photographer in a few weeks.

Announcement

For the first time on this blog I want to announce that Connor is going to be a big brother! It is only fitting that he choose this week to become a "big boy" and get the big boy bed. I'll post pictures later of how cute his room make over turned out.

This weekend Zieglers and Rahlman's came over for a dinner party. Connor did such a good job of being interested in 5 week old baby Melanie but kept his distance too. Good job Conman!

Connor Raymond

The title is meant to be said in a sturn voice. Last night at 3am Connor woke up crying. Ray went in his room and realized he was having a night terror. Anything we do to wake him up doesn't work. So Ray left the room and came back to bed. Connor was really giving it a good shout so Mom's turn to try. As I approached his door I noticed the handle was going up and down. The day we dreaded has come, Connor got out of his crib.

We've never even seen him try to put a leg up and get out but we both knew he was fully capable of getting out. Yikes! I couldn't get him to wake up either so at 4am I brought him downstairs knowing cartoons and food would get him up. It worked so we sat in the dark kitchen and ate at 4.

Our lives are not boring!

Girls

Connor had a full week of playing with things Pink! He met Gianna for a dinner date and they held hands :). Then on Mommy's day off he went to Beavercreek to hang out with Maddie & Kalee. He enjoyed cooking in the play kitchen but didn't have much to say about the barbie's.
