Tis the Season

Found the Christmas radio station today! with a 65-70 degree weekend we made the most of it!

Nice work Raymond climbing ladders and roofs! Our neighborhood and town are AMAZING at lights, all the entrances have TONS of lights. Love it! Our town had their Christmas tree lighting last night and it was so cute. Nutcracker performance, high school choir and dance performances; kettle corn hot coco and chili.

Give thanks

So much to be Thankful for! Yesterday in this adorable town we live in this 20ish year old was holding one of those arrow flip signs. One side said "Smile" the other said "Show love, share love".
Most thankful this year for my loving Husband and these two! After 5 months I can finally say I LOVE being home with them and can't believe how little I knew about them when I was a full time working Mama.
*When I took this photo shoot my intention was for it to be our Christmas card. The bridge is so beautiful but in order to get the bridge the boys are so tiny. Way too small for a 5x8. Oh well- cards go in the mail tomorrow with our new address on it.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Kindergarten

With school registration next month I've had a lot of friends ask what websites we looked at when deciding on where to live and what questions I was asking. Having just gone through the preschool process I'm sharp on my points of importance.

  • Safety practices
  • Class size, ratios, grade size
  • Half day or full day options (fees, hours)
  • Can my child bring peanut butter to school (Connor's preschool doesn't allow it so I dread each morning trying to come up with things besides a sandwich to fill his tummy)
  • What does my child need to know before entering Kindergarten
  • What will my child leave the school year knowing
For our school I need to bring immunization records and a copy of our house deed. Call your local district for dates of registration and to find out what you need to bring when you come.

Happy School Hunting!
