Sharks

I'm not really a theme person...as far as bedrooms go. With that being said Ryan's big boy bed sheets do have Sharks on them (pottery barn kids) so neighbor Stef had this amazing idea for wall art. I bought cute frames from Michaels with a coupon and then used Stef's scrap book paper. We used google images of Sharks cut them out and 10 minutes later; done. LOVE THEM!
Abby & Connor couldn't tell they were sharks but I don't care I can tell and they were made with love with means more than some art work I could have over paid for at the store.

We were outside enjoying the final nice days of summer in the front yard with neighbors. Same as now.

I remember Connor wearing this shirt, one of my favorites. Will we ever get rid of these paci's? Everyday we say we aren't going to let Ryan have it and as soon as he makes one sad face we cave.

Candy Land

If you "follow" this blog I'd love for you to be a follower...not really sure how to explain how to tell you to do that but I'm always curious as to who exactly reads this. If the only reading it is my mom then I can probably go ahead and just start exclusivly instagraming and stop blogging.

Any who....Ray was in New York this week and when he returned home Friday we vowed to take it easy Saturday and stay in pj's until noon! Well by 11 we had vacuummed, cleaned, been to the grocery store, ran a baby clothing errand for dear Ayers & Spicher babies and gone to the post office. Yea...some could say we don't know how to sit still.

During the vacuming Connor thought a game of Candyland was nessecary. Whatever keeps you occupied Con-man. On the Connor front I must say he is at crazy age. He picks up on so much. I've taught him his state, street, birthday month...and at school he has learned; abc's, twinkle twinkle, old mcdonald, the itsy bitsy spider, london bridge, ring around the rosie, and now BINGO. Very proud of our smart cookie. Ryan is not budging on the speech thing, still only saying dada and that.

Have I mentioned almost everyone I know is pregnant? Danielle & Nicki had their babies this week (Greyson & Kennedy) and that leaves still pregnant, Erica, Bridget, Katie & Jill R. Crazyness!

Ryan's 1 year appt

Ryan had his 1 year appointment today. 22 lbs 8 ounces and 50% for height, weight and head.

Sandels and Smiles

Connor does this all the time and it still makes me laugh; using the mr. potato pieces. I could only get one quick picture of Ryan in his flip flops. He did not enjoy something between his toes but I made him walk around in them anyways because they are so cute!

Ryan Turns One

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy! We celebrated Ryan's birthday at the lake. I was worried that it would be "just a normal day" and he wouldn't feel special so I might have went over board and made it probably his nicest and most people birthday ever. We had basically every relative on the Clark side there to celebrate the youngest member of the family. THANK YOU so much to everyone for coming, your love and your support. Ryan didn't dive into this cake so I let the boys help him, after a few minutes I thought that was enough...don't want cake throw up in Ryan's crib like I found the morning after Connor turned one.

We're back

Wondering where my daily/weekly posts have gone? We were on vacation for 11 glorious days! Being in the middle of know where with limited cell phone coverage and no lap tops around made us focus on our family.
We learned
  • Connor is now at a great age for the lake
    • he can be on the dock and we aren't worried he will die
    • he is really good at fishing, even if he moves his pole all around he will catch fish
    • the park down the street he can walk to, no stroller!
    • he can jump off the dock
    • he can ride Super Mable
    • he likes the amusement park
    • he can stay up late and not take a nap all day
    • swim diapers are not recommended for nap time
  • Ryan is not at a great age for the lake
    • he constantly was eating, sand, leaves or rocks
    • he ate mouse poision, which apparently is not that big a deal says the poision control people
    • he hated wearing his life jacket
    • he always was climbing up and down the front porch steps which made mommy nervous
