1st Soccer Season

Connor seems to have some natural ability but for the most part not the drive or attention span. Now onto swim lessons where after 3 weeks we are renaming it- sit on the steps for 30 minutes.

Father's Day

At school they dressed Connor up in an Oxford and tie!
Ps ray has been out of town so I let Connor sleep in bed with me. Last night or really this morning we both got soaked as he peed in my bed. Awesome!

Camping

As I am writing this Ray & Connor are camping in the back yard in a tent. It is 100% humidity and it isn't dark yet so who knows if any sleeping will actually be going on.
Today we got some horrible and unexpected news that my Great Uncle Phil had a fatal heart attach this morning. He was in his 50's and in great shape, we totally didn't see this coming and I'm sure his new bride Vena was beyound devistated today.
With this stop in your tracks news Ray turned his favorite weekend of his life (big golf tournament weekened- the masters) off and decided to spend the "fathers day weekend" with his son.
Phil had big dreams of moving soon to Arizona to enjoy the things he loved with the people he loved. Made me stop to meditate on what really is important in life, the people (you guys) that I call and chat with about the big things and little things.
Happy Fathers Day Daddies!!

Okoboji

Nothing is more enjoyable to Ray & I then our summer vacations to Lake Okoboji! Great Grandma Lous just mailed the boys a book about the lake to get them excited.

summer

I shazamed my new favorite song for the summer time: blurred lines by robin thicke!
PS Shazam is a free app, you hit the shazam button and in 5 seconds it tells you what the name and artist of the song on the radio is...LOVE.

Mae Mae

Julie's daughter Mae is 5 months younger than Ryan...she is just so SWEET. Ray can I have a baby girl? Look at these curls!
