If it wasn't attached....

I'd loose my mind. Seriously. Just to log on to this little blog of mine I have to have google text me a new password each time. I have no clue what it is, get locked out every time; create a new one, save it in my phone some where then go through this same cycle again.

When we were coming through the Ft. Myer's airport yesterday Ray says to me "you are calling me". "No I'm not" I say. He answers, talks to someone then heads back out of the gate, to the front of the airport where someone had found my phone on a chair. Oops. Ray got a good laugh as they identified him as the phone owners husband via the Movember pictures I have of him as the back ground of my phone- ha ha ha.

We had a great first ever just the four of us vacation. You know we always vacation at the lake each year but Grandma, Grandpa, Dave Val and GG are there so it doesn't count really as a "family" vacation. We went to Sanibel Island. Speaking of forgetfulness. I did back Connors Superman Backpack full of toys, snacks etc to get them through the flight and then left it in the back seat of the car. Does anyone else feel rushed when you pull into long term parking and the bus guy is just sitting there waiting for you?

Sanibel in particular South Seas was perfect for us. About 50 pools, the beach outside our Condo door- daily and nightly activities to attend if we felt like it. Fun, fun fun. Good family memories.

Most exciting thing was: Ryan became a little swimmer. Our fearless baby would jump off the side, plop under the water and kick those cute little thighs to Daddy. He did it so many times I actually got fearful that he would be light headed and would make Ray take breaks.

Connor being Connor was cool with the water as long as he could touch. Sanibel knew there would be kids like Conman and had two pools that were no deeper than 3 feet- hand me a margarita and let me (kind of) watch my kid from the comfort of my chair.

Connor Man

Is getting so big. Every day I look at him and think he has grown from the day before.
Reading a "read along" (book on tape) tonight.

Kings Island

For my birthday I wanted the four of us to go to Kings Island Amusement park. We took a co workers advice and went during the week after five. He was right, less people- short lines.

Much to our surprise, if they were tall enough to ride they loved it. 2 different roller coasters for Connor and 1 for Ryan. Hands up, smiles and giggles galore.
We splurged and got an awesome photo of con and dad going down the hill
