Okoboji

Ray & my favorite place on Earth is Lake Okoboji. In one week we will make the 13 hour car ride to go there. Connor took his first steps there last August.

Cleveland

Jill had a work function in Akron so the whole family headed North and on Friday we went to the Akron Zoo and on Saturday we got to see a bunch of friend to celebrate Carter's 2nd birthday. Can't believe Carter (Travis & Casey's) is already 2. I feel like the pictures are getting harder and harder instead of easier. 2 of the 5 familes now have 2 kids and 2 more of us are pregnant so we are doing a good job of keeping up with each other.
*why is it my kid that is crying in the goofy picture?...and Ray calls Connor our easy child. Only 7 more weeks until Connor is a big brother :)

31 Weeks

Mom & Dad

Over Memorial Day Weekend we had some mom/dad time as Pat came to town so we could go to a Wedding Saturday night and another one on Sunday.

Father's Day

Connor helped dad hang brackets for the blinds in the basement. Mom had pregnancy brain and cut all the strings too short....blinds are in the trash if anyone wants white 2 inch blinds.

Boji

Boji is is still Connor's best friend and Connor is still Boji's nemesis.

Connor loves these moccasins his Great Aunt Terri got him for his first birthday. He wanted to wear them to daycare yesterday and through a fit when I said no.

Double Stroller

What I wanted was a double stroller where the kids sit next to each other, there is one front wheel, 2 seperate canopies and a cup holder for each kid.
What we got was a "double contour" for $60 from Once Upon A Child.
It is extremly heavy and doesn't pivor around objects well but here are the pluses
+it was cheap
+it looks brand new
+you can put an infant seat in it
+the two red chairs can face each other, both face front or both face back.
+canopy for each to keep the sun out of their eyes
+lots of under storage

Uncle Travie's moving day

A whole bunch of helpers went over to Travis' Friday night to drop off boxes and unpack a few things. I mostly sat around and watched Isabella, Jack and Connor. I can't believe all three of them are 1 year olds now. Us moms sat around talking about when we were all pregant. How quick a year goes!

Playdate minus Connor

If you are a mom you will understand, if you are not a mom you will think we are ridiculous; Kelly Horner (trey) and Bridget Ziegler (molly) came over on my day off. The understand/ridiculous part is they dropped their oldest child off at daycare and only brought the babies. We also choose to get together during Connor's nap time. Hanging out with a 6 week old and 12 week old made me realize that I am going to be exhausted and never have a down moment. Just need to keep telling myself it is temporary and goes by fast.
