Little fish

This weekend was week two of swim lessons. The boys do not like it as much as in door soccer but we are hoping they grow to love swimming! 

Connor was very timid and hates going under but Ryan this week didn't cry and appeared to be comfortable.

Jesus at Panera

Tonight I was feeling overwhelmed, stressed and anxious. I took the boys to Panera, they were a little loud but very well behavied. Ryan was eating an apple that got away from him and rolled right up to a middle aged man. The man bent down, picked it up, acknowledge me and threw it away. He then took his uneaten apple and put it in my hand. 

I started eye welling at the table Amongst the chaos. I explained to the boys that that was Jesus working through that man and you should help strangers. 

Connor paused then said, "Where did that man go? Did he float back up to heaven?"

So yes we saw Jesus at Panera tonight.

Movie date

I had a first: first trip to the movies with the boys! We saw mr Peabody and Sherman. Both kids loved it....Ryan's first movie! Free until 3 so we will be going to more movies for sure.

Extreme

The weather is too extreme these days and our schedules and stress are also too much.

Through it all I just have to look at these two and they make me smile.
I was in Las Vegas for a conference all week, I came home just in time for Ray to go to Cleveland for four days to help take care of his Mom after her surgery. Then he comes homes to fly out the same day for work.
