Victory

Each and EVERY time I want to update the blog I have to click the "I forgot my password" and come up with a new one (brain is mush) but guess what I did? I wrote it down, and after frantically looking for a minute or two, found the crumpled piece of paper that I had written the grocery list on a few days back stuffed in the back of the desk drawer and drum roll, I got logged in the very first time. All smiles here people, this is a victory!

I'm blogging today to tell you about the most delicious dessert I have come across on Pinterest. Deep Dish Oatmeal Cookie Bars:

13x9 greased pan Oven preheat to 350

2 sticks salted butter
2 eggs
2 C brown Sugar

Mix these 3then add:
2 tsp vanilla Ext
1/3 C milk

Then add:
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 C quick oatmeal (uncooked)

These first three paragraphs are the "cookie" for the chocolate aka other layer:
In a saucepan mix:
1 Can Sweetened condensed Milk
1/3 C salted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
once all melted down pour over cookie mix

In the pan but 3/4 of the "cookie mix" then pour all the chocolate later on top. Top with remaining cookie mix...it will not cover everywhere, kind of a marble look.

Cook at 350 for 25 minutes. I put reynolds wrap on after 18 minutes so the top wouldn't burn.

Delicious, just as good day two and three.
YUM!
