Denver

My parents flew in Thursday night and Ray & I left bright (3:45) and early with driver (Dad) to Sky Harbor International to fly to Denver. We toured houses all day with our Realtor and comisorated with my second cousins (Sheri & Marty) over the fact that before we could bid on "the perfect house" we found out a full price offer had come in an hour prior.

Day two, we both woke up realizing we had seen "the perfect house" the day before we were just to devastated but the news of the first house offer to open our eyes to OUR house. That's it in 30-ish days we will be Denver residents. We feel really fortunate because we had on our wish list;

  •  4 bedrooms on the upper floor
  • Large backyard (for S Denver standars)
  • 3 car garage
  • Bonus space
We did our little ritual of "interviewing the neighbors". Passed with flying colors. The couple behind us are from New York and have a 5 year old boy, 10 yr old boy and 13 year old girl (SHE BABYSITS!!!)This house has it all! We are pumped! The basement isn't finished, sounds to me like a 2011 Christmas Remix is in store this Winter with Dale & Ray.

Saturday night Ray & I went downtown to stay at a fun hotel. We did happy hour, dinner and were got to sleep for 12 hours! It was nice to celebrate and talk about our future and relax away from the boys.

We came home to two little boys who I'm not sure missed or wanted us to return. Spoiled rotten with love and patience by Grandma and Grandma (as Ryan calls them). The apartment was spotless and new books were on the shelf. Very fortunate that Ray can afford us this new forever home, that I am able to stay home and get to learn my boys unique personalities and that we can see God in our everyday lives and teach our boys his unconditional love.

Not the best shot with the tree in the way...when we move in I'll share more.

To Bridget, Heather, Kristie & Nicki who are also going through moves- thanks for all the texts, phone calls and support. Love you ladies!
100% aware that we are weirdo's but Ray & I are big on license plates and we have both always really liked the "standard" plate of CO. We will be sad to see our Miami plates go but love the simplicity of the Green mountain look. Watch out Colorado your newest residence are coming soon to a  town near you.
