Is getting so big. Every day I look at him and think he has grown from the day before.
Reading a "read along" (book on tape) tonight.

Kings Island
For my birthday I wanted the four of us to go to Kings Island Amusement park. We took a co workers advice and went during the week after five. He was right, less people- short lines.
Much to our surprise, if they were tall enough to ride they loved it. 2 different roller coasters for Connor and 1 for Ryan. Hands up, smiles and giggles galore.

32
Another year older! I actually had to ask Ray how old I was. Sad. I also did a cartwheel today with Cynthia and I think I pulled a muscle. Old, sad, old.
Can't believe on Sunday it will be 11 years ago that I ran my first marathon. CRAZY. This summer we will have been married 8 years, had Boji for 8 years....insane. This summer Ray is venturing off to the alma mature for a frat-tastic 10 year reunion.
Other news, we are taking our first every just the 4 of us family vacation! We are going to Sanibel Island. I'm not 100% sure where it is or what we are doing there. I walked into a travel agent's office last week on a lunch break, a few texts to Ray later and 1.5 hours later I walked out with our trip booked.
My requirements were: warm, sand, not a hotel and a place that had all day daycare for mybrats wonderful boys. I can almost feel the hot sand on my feet now.
If you are a part of my life, thanks for sitting next to me on this crazy roller coaster and listening to all my stories.
Love,
Jill

He has risen!
Connor has been asking a lot of questions about who God is and who Jesus is. Very hard to explain to anyone much less a four year old. We will get their, story after story day after day.
Happy Easter!

Weather
This morning I woke up to grass, trees and mulch covered in a winter wonderland. Very confusing to a 2 & 4 year old.
This weekend we ventured out to one of the wonderful county parks. The play ground and feeding the ducks were the highlights.

Double stroller
Very mixed on my emotions, we sold the double stroller. It went to friends of friends which I liked, twin girls! In one sense I'm vey happy to have two kids who can walk and jump and run....and to have more room in the garage. The other part of me is sad that we don't need a double stroller any more. As I write this my mind flashes back to zoo trips as a family. Tear.
Seriously stop growing boys!

you swim like a rock
Ray was out of town this week and my parents were out of the country so it was just another me and the kids kind of week.
Connor and Ryan had their 3rd swim lesson this morning. Ryan is doing really well, will go under the water, use his arms to walk along the pool wall, smiles and seems to like it.
Connor, not so much. He didn't want to go, cried when we were in the waiting area and said he never wanted to go under the water, just play on the step...and that is just what he did. So glad I'm paying $80 a month (per kid) for Connor to have no confidence in himself and scarred to death.
We talked to one of the ladies and he is going to go down a level and we hope that builds up the confidence.

When I grow up...
Laying in bed with Connor he felty forehead (actually do to think he has ever done that) and said "Mom you have a fever" to which I replied "oh, are you going to be a doctor when you grow up?"
Con- "No, I'm going to be a cowboy"
"You don't even know what a cowboy does"?
Con- "Yes I do, he rides his trusty horse and lives not here but on the dirt trail"
