New nursery

Here is Connor's new room and a glidder that was a birthday present to mommy from Grammie and Poppi!

7 months

Where is the time going? Connor is now 7 months old. He is around 17 lbs and he loves baby food, especially bananas and carrots. His absolutly favorite thing to do is grab your face (and hair) and suck on your face. If you take something away from him he throws a fit, he scoots around but doesn't crawl and he now only gets up once in the middle of the night (thank goodness)!

Connor had his follow up appt. today and he has gained 7 ounces since Wednesday!

Connor's Hospital Stay

On Wednesday Connor was feeling even worse and refused to eat. At 3pm Jill took him back to the pediatrician. He was severly dehydrated and was taken to Childrens Hospital where he was admitted over night. It was really hard watching our little guy get an IV (they said he was so chunky it was hard to find a vein) and to be in a hospital bed. After being pumped with pain meds and liquids he started to feel much better and we were discharged today.

There were a lot of baby's a lot sicker than ours and we feel very blessed to have Connor back in our arms starting to feel like his old self again.

hand, foot and mouth disease

Our poor little guy is sick sick sick! He was fussy all day Sunday and then daycare on Monday called and said he seemed really upset. Ray took him to the doctor and found out he has hand foot and mouth disease. HF&M are little soars in your throat making it very difficult to want to eat. These same soars are all over his body and on the bottoms of his feet. They look like chicken poxs and are very painful. Mommy even resorted to driving around Newtown last night at 4:45am in hopes of calming Connor down (it didn't work).

Connor's Baptism Weekend

6 month update

At Connor's 6 month appointment he weighed in at 16 lbs 8 ounces and 26 1/2 inches long. That puts him in the the 50%.

Today we were blessed to celebrate Connor's Baptism with Grandma's, Grandpa, Great Grandmas, Great Aunt Terri, Uncle Travis, Aunt Cynthia and the best friends we could ever ask for.

6 months

This morning Connor woke us up only to find he had pooped through his pj's and all over his sheets. We pulled the mattress out, took the sheet off and got him dressed. I then turned around to see that Boji had peed on his mattress. I think the dog is starting to get jelous or perhaps mad at the cue ball who pulls on her fur.

Connor is now eating peas, sweet potatos and baby cereal. He can't crawl yet but he can some how scoot and get things he wants. He loves to go on walks in his stroller and he loves Travis and Cynthia trying to get him to walk.
