I'm so big!
Today Connor's umbilical cord fell off. What a big milestone! We will be sure to take pictures when he gets his first bath. Also Connor found his thumb.

Thanks Mom & Dad
Mimi and Poppi left yesterday. They helped give Connor sponge baths, trimmed back bushes, washed all the windows, hung a range hood and made lots and lots of yummy meals for us. Thanks for all the help!
Connor had a follow up appointment today at the pediatricians office: 6lbs 3 ounces. Yay little piggy (finally above his birth weight).!

waiting
Still at the hospital waiting to get sent home. Connor had a rough night after his circumcision and did not get much sleep or eat very much. The pediatrician wants us to stay for a few more good feedings so we should be getting out of here sometime around dinner. Can't wait to sleep in our own bed and show Connor his new room. I hope he likes monkeys.

Ater giving it the old college try and 25 hours after her water broke, Jill finally got an epideral. She was exhausted and only at 5 centimeters. After the epideral she was able to take a nap and get to 9 centimeters. The doctor is on his way down and Jill is doing great! We will keep everyone posted with more updates.
The Big Day
This is Ray posting for the Moormans. Good news, Jill's water broke at 11:30am on Sunday morning. Bad news, not very many contractions or progress. We are at Christ Hospital now and Jill just got started on some Pitosin. Hopefully that will get things going. I plan on sending out a mass text message once I have any big updates. Hopefully the next post is a picture of Connor!

38 Weeks
Well Ray & I thought maybe today was going to be Connor's birthday, false alarm. After church I was putting groceries away and had a gush of fluids come out. I thought it was my water so we called the dr. After not hearing back from him and waiting around for 2 hrs we thought better safe than sorry and headed to Christ Hospital.
False alarm. It was too good to be true, we had a great room, great nurse, great view of downtown. I go back to the dr. on Tuesday so we will talk then and find out what exactly I experienced and why he didn't answer his phone.
Congratulation to Julie & Joe who welcomed William Doman into the world today!!
