Boston (said with a Boston accent)

This was the first time ever leaving Ryan and we have only ever left Connor over night once for great friend Andy & Alyas wedding. So leaving them for 4 days is crazy town!
Ray had to go to Btown for work so we turned it into a long weekend get away! We ate lobster, went to a comedy show, saw the goo goo dolls live, a random gospel concert in the park, the freedom walk, a duck tour, spa, and my personal favorite- slept!
Missed the boys immediately but heather is amazing, sent me text pictures and face times to keep me going.

Fire station

Connor and I went to the fire station open house and he loved it. His favorite thing was the house with the simulator smoke thing they had at our elementary schools.

Daycare embarrasing moment

Ryan's daycare teacher said before I could run out the door this morning; "do you have a second". Suuuure (oh gosh what is going to come out of this lady's mouth) and it was WORSE than I could have imagined.

Ms Lynn: Ryan was playing outside with one of his friends, he bends, picks up a toy and says "this is a beer". I thought, I couldn't have heard him correctly. I walk over to him and say, Ryan what is that? He reply's "this is my mommy's beer".

Deer in headlights moment.

Me: last night Ryan asked me if I wanted a beer and I said, actually I do
Ryan: why?
Me: because you drive me crazy

Um yea, sometimes I over share. What is wrong with me? I'll probably be getting the daycare pink slip this Friday.

You can never have too many...

trucks, cars & tractors, can you?
I was talking to my good friend Kristie yesterday and she has 4 kids.  Only 1, the youngest, is a boy. She said the other day she realized she doesn't have any boy toys. I said, "I bet we have 70 trucks". Well then it was eating away at me, just how many do we have?

I lined up the big ones to count out...35! That's not counting match box cars. I blame Santa, Great Grandma and the Easter Bunny.

Have faith

Ray and I have decided it is time for us to move small groups (at church). I've had ants in my pants (big surprise right) about having a big enough group, THEE perfect group etc. Today the church lady in charge of it emailed me and said, have faith. She's right, it will work out the way God wants it too. Sat in the living room , had the wall art candles going and reflected on her email and how amazing the new group will be.

The second picture is a cute costume I thought the boys might like as a Halloween option. (Connor pictured)

Living Room

3 years later- I finally hung something on the wall and brought it a pop of color.

Now I just need to get candles to put on the wall art thingy.

Big Boy Bed

Being our "baby" we let Ryan stay in a crib waaay longer than we did with Connor but that really is our last "baby" thing to go. Sad.Tear. (how can I convince Ray we need to adopt??)

He loved his big boy bed last night. He did get out once around midnight and came into our room but Ray just scooped him up and put him back in his bed and not a peep.

Summer= Water Fun

Connor still can not STAND to get his face wet so the neighborhood pool and swim lessons have been an epic fail, but the plastic blue pool in the front yard, water table and sprinkler continue keep Thing 1 & Thing 2 (we are watching a LOT of Cat in the hat around here) occupied this summer.

They thought they were done, I took of their shorts, then they decided they were not done as they ran around the front yard in undies and a diaper. Ray was mortified, I was too tired to care.
