House projects

One of the reasons we picked our house was no house projects! I did however decide I hated the orange deck and needed to one day paint it. Well that day/ month arrived. Before and after.

Our Niece

Crazy to me when I hear someone call me "Aunt Jill" or Uncle Ray. Well our sweet baby girl Niece came for a weekend visit.
Look at all the fun we had with Emma Clare.
Yes this is a sleep sack thing and yes she is over a year old....never in my life seen one of these. They say she loves it.

Birthday fun

Ryan enjoyed a cupcake at friend Jacks birthday. He also freaked out as big brother kept feeding the ducks so they would not leave the party/Ryan's side.

1st Soccer Season

Connor seems to have some natural ability but for the most part not the drive or attention span. Now onto swim lessons where after 3 weeks we are renaming it- sit on the steps for 30 minutes.

Father's Day

At school they dressed Connor up in an Oxford and tie!
Ps ray has been out of town so I let Connor sleep in bed with me. Last night or really this morning we both got soaked as he peed in my bed. Awesome!

Camping

As I am writing this Ray & Connor are camping in the back yard in a tent. It is 100% humidity and it isn't dark yet so who knows if any sleeping will actually be going on.
Today we got some horrible and unexpected news that my Great Uncle Phil had a fatal heart attach this morning. He was in his 50's and in great shape, we totally didn't see this coming and I'm sure his new bride Vena was beyound devistated today.
With this stop in your tracks news Ray turned his favorite weekend of his life (big golf tournament weekened- the masters) off and decided to spend the "fathers day weekend" with his son.
Phil had big dreams of moving soon to Arizona to enjoy the things he loved with the people he loved. Made me stop to meditate on what really is important in life, the people (you guys) that I call and chat with about the big things and little things.
Happy Fathers Day Daddies!!
