Julie & Joe

Are moving to Denver! Won't be facebook official until after they tell work on Friday. Should be here by August 1st!! Julie was my roommate junior and senior year. Their oldest son is 1 day older than Connor and their daughter is 3. Can't wait to spend a month at the pool with them before Julie gets a job and doesn't have as much hang time.

Baby oh baby- I think we had a good three years of no friends having babies and now I feel like I should open up a babiesrus card. Two couples in our bible study are expecting (1 shower down, 1 to go). Another college denver roommate Danielle is 38 weeks with her first...a little girl. Andy (best man in our wedding) & Alya welcomed their second child into the world this week- a boy! Jill (sorority sister) & Noah welcomed their second child this week as well- a boy!

Pictures from Julie and joes house hunting trip. We now have 5 out of 10 of the college roommates with Colorado addresses.
4 boys (will not pictured)
The ladies- Jill, Julie, Meggie, Sarah & Danielle
Connor took this picture- lol

Post Op

Head ache, not sleeping, disoriented- those are my symptoms after Connor's surgery. All kidding aside he is doing great. Being spoiled by packages coming daily in the mail and Ryan loves being the nurse.
Connors soccer season ended last night 6 wins and 1 loss for the season.
His whole class wrote/colored pictures

T&A

Tonsillectomy and adnoidectmy- check
Surgery took an hour and that was nerve wrecking. Then when I got to go back after surgery he was crying a lot and saying it hurt so pain management was a little tough.
Home now. Thankful for the staff, volunteers, nurses and doctors. Everyone was so friendly and personable. Thank you for your prayers!
When we arrived changed into gown and played in play room.
He was really cute and giggly all morning.
I don't think Connor or Mama realized how painful it would be even with pain medication. We finally got him to take a nap and rest his Crying throat.

I'm fine

In a world of "we're good" it is hard to ask for help but I'm asking! Connor has his surgery on Monday and can't go to school for AT LEAST TWO WEEKS. Say what????? They said the pain is unimaginable and a completely purified diet will takes us through the first 6 days, that diet also can not consist of dairy as that has a lot of bacteria in it. Um yea someone is going to be in pain and starving so that should be fun.

Please send words of encouragement to us, prayers and GIFTS to distract Connor and keep mom sane.

Amen,
Jill

33

Happy with where we are at at 33. Had a great night out with four strong Christian friends and spent today horse back riding with the hubs.
Finished the bash with a stop at a cute cupcake place in downtown Parker.

Wishes

Ray took the boys on a walk yesterday and their were lots of wishes to be had. Connor melted Daddy's heart with his four wishes:
1- for his parents to be happy
2- for Isabella to still want to marry him
3- for his future kids to be happy
4- for God in Heaven to be happy

We are doing SOMETHING right!

Delays and cancellations

Ray was suppose to be home last night after dinner but DEN got slammed with snow and the airport closed down. More cancellations today so he rented a car and hops to be home tonight by 9pm.

Connors tonsillectomy has been delayed. Insurance says it is an elective surgery and they won't pay for it. Umm, what? Not going to focus my energy on it now but one day I'll get fired up and do my Super Mom job to make it happen.

For now I am happy that sweet neighbor Tommy is home from school and is keeping my boys busy with a foosball tournament. I'll sit here drink some chai and watch Ellen!

Winter Park- Easter

My grandmother and uncle mom and dad joined us on a trip up to the mountains to celebrate Jesus and Easter.

So glad we stayed at the ymca because their was very little snow and in door swimming, roller skating and s'mores by the campfire kept all entertained.
